Currently the center consist of three research groups: Biomedical Engineering, Radiology Research and Cognitive Neuroscience.

The biomedical engineering group is conducting research on various aspects of magnetic resonance imaging technology including safety of implants, nonlinear gradients, radiofrequency transmit array  under supervision of Dr. Ergin Atalar

Radialogy Researhes are conducted under the supervision of Dr. K.K.Oguz.

Dr. K.K.Oguz concentrates on a variety of disorders and their related effects on morphologic and functional properties of the brain parenchyma. Her special interests in the field of neuroradiology are congenital malformations, inflammatory-demyelinating diseases, epileptic disorders, metabolic  and neurodegenerative disorders. She currently conducts a number of advanced MR imaging studies on temporal lobe epilepsy, chronic recurrent inflammatory optic neuritis, schizophrenia, neurodegenerative movement disorders  and poststroke physical rehabilitation at UMRAM.
