UMRAM<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

The National Magnetic Resonance Research Center (UMRAM) has been established in May 2009 at Bilkent-Cyberpark with the support of the Turkish Ministry of Development.<\/p>\n

Currently, UMRAM is housed in Aysel Sabuncu Brain Research Center.<\/p>\n

The mission of UMRAM is to promote, facilitate and conduct research on magnetic resonance imaging.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>

Dr. Tolga \u00c7ukur introduces UMRAM<\/figcaption>\n <\/figure><\/article><\/div><\/div>

The facilities include a Siemens MAGNETOM Trio A Tim System MR Scanner with a static magnetic field of 3 tesla, and Scimedix SM160 1.5T MR scanner which are solely dedicated to research. UMRAM also has animal research, electronics and psychophysics laboratories. UMRAM brings together an interdisciplinary group of investigators to study and use the technology of magnetic resonance imaging.<\/span><\/p>\n

Currently the center consists of three research groups: Biomedical Engineering, Radiology Research and Cognitive Neuroscience.<\/p>\n

UMRAM has an open access policy of use, i.e. it is open to researchers who would like to use the facilities, and can provide staff support for data collection.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>
