Prof. Sar\u0131ta\u015f focuses on novel magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and magnetic particle imaging (MPI) systems, and their diagnostic and scientific applications. She has developed innovative technologies to advance technical and clinical capabilities of these imaging modalities. Her leading contributions include imaging techniques that enable high-resolution diffusion-weighted MRI in targeted body areas, comprehensive evaluation of human safety limits of magnetic imaging systems, and novel contrast mechanisms for MPI. Her research has been published in leading journals including IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging (TMI), Magnetic Resonance in Medicine, Applied Physics Letters, and Advanced Materials.
