She worked as the vice director of Istanbul K\u00fclt\u00fcr University\u00a0Brain\u00a0Dynamics\u00a0Research\u00a0Center between 2006 and 2016. She was appointed Professor of Biophysics in 2016 at the Istanbul Medipol University School of Medicine. Her\u00a0research\u00a0area mainly focuses on analyzing cognitive functions using EEG-Event Related\u00a0Brain\u00a0Oscillations in healthy controls and patients with Alzheimer&#8217;s and other types of dementia. She serves as the vice chair of ISTAART Electrophysiology Professional Interest Area of Alzheimer&#8217;s Association and is elected chair for 2023-2025. She served as the advisory board member of The Scientific and Technological\u00a0Research\u00a0Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) Health Sciences\u00a0Research\u00a0Group between 2019 and 2022. She is an Editorial Board member of Scientific journals like Scientific Reports, International Journal of Psychophysiology, Aging\u00a0Brain, and others.
