Prof. O\u011fuz proje \u00f6zetinde s\u00f6yle yazm\u0131\u015f.<\/p>\n<p>Eri\u015fkinlerdeki en s\u0131k fokal epilepsi tipi olan temporal lob epilepsisi(TLE)nin inme, t\u00fcm\u00f6r ve malformasyonlar gibi pek \u00e7ok nedeni bulunmakla beraber, cerrahi serilerdeki en s\u0131k neden hippokampal skleroz (HS)dur ve Manyetik Rezonans G\u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fcleme(MRG) ile tan\u0131s\u0131 genellikle m\u00fcmk\u00fcnd\u00fcr. Bu hastalardaetkilenen hemisphere \u00f6zg\u00fc -postoperatif histopatolojik incelemelerle de desteklendi\u011fi gibi- MRG\u2019deki hippokampal atrofiyle korele haf\u0131za ve dil sorunlar\u0131 olur. HS\u2019deki yap\u0131sal ve fonksiyonel de\u011fi\u015fiklikler hippokamp\u00fcs\u00fcn, hatta limbik sistemin dahi d\u0131\u015f\u0131na uzanmaktad\u0131r.Haf\u0131za ve dil sorunlar\u0131n\u0131n etkilenen hippokamp\u00fcs\u00fcn i\u00e7inde bulundu\u011fu fonksiyonel a\u011f (network) ve beyaz cevher yolaklar\u0131yla ilgili oldu\u011fu d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclmektedir.
