The National Magnetic Resonance Research Center is hiring a technician.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's or associate degree in biomedical, electrical or electronics engineering or a related field,
- Experience in circuit soldering,
- Knowledge of RF measurement equipment,
- Knowledge of MRI scanner operation, faults and hardware (preferred),
- Ability to support computer system infrastructure (preferred),
- Male candidates must have completed or be exempt from military service.
Job description:
- Running imaging sessions on the MRI scanner with the relevant protocols on behalf of researchers and the center,
- Keeping the equipment in the MRI room (head coils, headphones, display and so on) in working order,
- Taking MRI safety measures, and informing researchers about these rules and monitoring compliance,
- Keeping the radiofrequency laboratory in order and its equipment maintained and working,
- Ordering the tools, equipment and consumables researchers need in the laboratories,
- Supporting project engineers in laboratory work and during component manufacturing,
- Keeping the center's general computer infrastructure running and providing technical support to staff when needed,
- Working with the relevant contacts at the university and the facility management company to solve building infrastructure problems.
