Being a final year PhD candidate, I am currently investigating transcriptome level fluctuations that occur in mammalian immune cells treated with telomeric repeats (mimicked using immunosuppressive ODNs called A151). Our research has recently shed light into the mystery lying behind the molecular mechanism(s) of telomere-based immune suppression. To this end, I take full advantage of bioinformatics tools in Linux environment and high level coding (e.g. Python, C, R). As a sideline to my main project, I am also interested in proteomics data analysis (i.e. MS output) within the context of immunity.
