Akbar Alipour
Akbar Alipour received the B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Urmia University, Urmia, Iran in 2007. He completed his Master degree in bio-medical science at METU and Gazi University, Ankara, Turkey in 2011. Dr. Akbar Alipour completed his Ph.D. at Bilkent University, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Ankara. His research interests lie in the area of thin-film microwave structures which are used in the medical applications. He has been involved in the development of the resonator and the coils for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and the electromagnetic sensors for wireless sensing. Dr.Alipour also collaborates actively with the researchers in another discipline of the material science, particularly magnetic nanoparticles that are commonly used as the contrast agent in MRI.
