Oktay Algın and colleagues have published “Integrated Image Enhancement and Radiomic Analysis for Ultra-High-Field 7T Time-of-Flight MR Angiography” in Applied Sciences (April 2026).
The study presents TOFR-VET, a MATLAB toolkit that brings vessel enhancement, image quality measurement and radiomic feature extraction into one workflow for 7 Tesla time-of-flight MR angiography of brain vessels. Tested on scans from 120 people, it shows how different enhancement methods change image quality and the quantitative features extracted from the images. A standard workflow makes measurements from these detailed vessel images more consistent and comparable.
